Welcome to Athey Women
At Athey Creek, we desire to be women who love Jesus and know His Word.
Our culture has so many messages about who we are as women, but who does God’s Word say that we are? We long to see women gather and connect with each other while at the same time engaging with God’s Word in a meaningful way that leaves women encouraged and challenged to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Our prayer is that all women will feel welcomed and valued as we seek the Lord together.

The Devoted Podcast is part of the Women’s Ministry at Athey Creek Church. Join us as we discuss what it means to be a woman devoted to God and His Word today.
Women's Counseling & Discipleship
Athey Creek has a team of women who offer counseling and discipleship to the ladies of our congregation. We believe that the Bible provides answers to whatever issues one may face in life, at home, as a parent, etc. We prayerfully come alongside and direct women to our Wonderful Counselor (Isaiah 9:6) who will provide whatever we need.
- After completing the form, one of our counselors will contact you to schedule an appointment.
- Meetings can be online (phone or video call) or in-person.
*While we do not have counseling credentials, we bring years of life experience and knowledge of the scriptures to every counseling session.
Titus 2 at Home
This ministry offers an opportunity for the older women of the church to lovingly come alongside and encourage younger women and moms. Athey Creek’s Titus 2 ladies fulfill the admonition found in Titus 2:3-5, which says, “In the same way, older women are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not addicted to much wine. They are to teach what is good, so they may encourage the young women to love their husbands and to love their children, to be self-controlled, pure, homemakers, kind, and submissive to their husbands, so that God’s message will not be slandered.”
What to Expect When You Fill Out the Form
- One of the Titus 2 women will reach out by email or phone to set up a future time to talk and/or meet with you. They would be glad to pray with you, encourage you, and cheer you on.
- If needed, our Titus 2 women are available to come to your home in pairs to answer questions you may have about home life, marriage, and parenting. These caring women are eager to share their years of practical experience combined with a biblical perspective.
Devoted Groups
A Devoted Group is a group of women from Athey Creek who meet in person to pray together and grow in our understanding and application of what it looks like to be women living according to God’s good design. Our next season of groups will follow a monthly rhythm, meeting the week following Devoted Live each month, from September 2026 through May 2027. If you’d like to join a group, click the button below!
FAQs
What does it mean for us to be set apart? Why would we even want that? These are two things that are either unknown or have been taken for granted. The Set Apart Bible study will challenge you to think about the call that the Lord has given to each of us — to be set apart for His purposes. As we open His Word together on this essential understanding of our Christian faith, the Holy Spirit will powerfully and specifically work in each of us as we acknowledge our desire and necessity to be set apart.
On the first day of each month (apart from December and January), the corresponding session’s study guide pages will be available for free to download from our website (i.e., Session 1 will be available on September 1, Session 2 on October 1, and so on).
If you’d like something to help keep the study guide pages organized and are joining us in-person at a Devoted Group, we are offering a study pack for purchase. This pack will include a folder containing printed pages explaining how the study works and September’s study questions. Beginning August 22, you can purchase a study pack before or after services in the Hillside or Hillsboro Bookstores, or at the McMinnville campus Info Table. If you’d rather not purchase a study pack, the September discussion questions will be available to download from our website starting September 1.
Participating online? We’d love for you to be part of this study! Each session’s pages will be posted to our website as a free PDF download. You’re welcome to print it at home, at your local library or print shop, or simply keep it on your phone or tablet and go fully digital — whatever works best for you! We are excited for you to follow along with us at Devoted Live!
While we love your excitement about inviting a friend, we ask that everyone sign up online. Many women are on our waitlist, and we’d hate for a group to reach capacity in a way that isn’t fair to those who’ve been waiting.
We welcome nursing newborns under 6 months. As they grow and become more wiggly, we ask that your baby stay home. This gives you, as the mom, a break, and keeps the baby from distracting the group from its purpose. We want all women, including new moms, to have the chance to study God’s Word and pray together — and we want to respect all the women in the group by keeping the main thing the main thing.
Applications to facilitate or host are currently closed. However, because groups will meet throughout the year, we are still open to hearing from women who are interested in serving in this way. If you would like to be considered as a potential facilitator or host, please fill out the Interest Form. Submitting this form does not guarantee placement or start the application process, but it allows our team to review your information as we continue to prayerfully build groups and pairings for the upcoming season. If it seems like there may be a potential new grouping, someone from our team may reach out with next steps, including a formal application and screening process. In the meantime, we encourage you to be praying about this opportunity!
As a Devoted Group facilitator, we believe God will use you for His purposes. To serve God in this capacity is both a privilege and a blessing, and it requires your time, energy, and devotion to God and this ministry.
Being a facilitator means that you will support a group of women during a Bible study by encouraging discussion within the group as study questions are reviewed. You will also spend time in prayer throughout the month and send monthly messages to communicate about the upcoming meeting. Each facilitator will be expected to report to their Devoted Group Facilitator Lead with any questions or concerns throughout the study. We encourage you to pray about this opportunity (with your husband, if applicable).
Please fill out the Interest Form to let us know that you’re interested in facilitating and/or hosting a Devoted Group. Submitting this form does not guarantee placement or start the application process, but it allows our team to review your information as we continue to prayerfully build groups and pairings for the upcoming season. If you have any questions, please email devotedgroups@atheycreek.com
