Psalm 46:1 - "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Even before He created us, God positioned himself to be our Help. From the moment of the first sin in the garden of Eden, God the Father came to the lives and hearts of His people to protect, guide and teach them. When Jesus ascended to the right hand of God, He sent the Spirit to be with us forever. Jesus specifically referred to the Holy Spirit as our Helper, One who teaches us of Christ our Savior and prompts our hearts to turn to Him. He is with us, in us, upon us. This study examines the nature and the calling of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
