As Jesus continues His ministry in Matthew 8:18-9:8, we find Him gaining more notoriety by calming the wind and waves, healing a sick man, and casting out demons. As the crowds watch Jesus perform these miracles, some consider becoming His disciples, while others start to see Him as a threat to their culture and religious systems.
