Isaiah 38-39


King Hezekiah is a little mixed up in his interpretation of what is bad and what is good in Isaiah 38-39 as he deals with a life-threatening sickness, hosts foreign dignitaries, and learns the prophetic fate of his nation. May we learn from Hezekiah’s mistakes and instead rely upon the Lord to help us humbly see our situation clearly, and submit to His will in all things.

Brett is Athey Creek Christian Fellowship’s Senior Pastor. He and his family moved to Portland, OR, in 1996 to start Athey Creek. As our church has grown, Brett’s main focus has remained the same: to point people to Jesus by teaching through God’s Word, verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter, book-by-book. Brett and his wife Debbie have three children.
