The time has come in Numbers 13:1-33 and 14:1-19 for the Israelites to enter the Promised Land but first they decide to send in spies to check out the situation. This would lead to their downfall when they succumb to their fear and doubt instead of trusting the facts of God’s promise to bring them safely in.
