Luke 18:1-8

When we believe God is trustworthy we will pursue Him through persevering prayer. In Luke 18 Jesus encourages us to pray always and not become discouraged. He has given us this parable of the widow and the judge to emphasize the importance of not giving up prayerfully seeking God alone. He is compassionate and faithful to respond to His beloved children who cry out to Him. The focus through our time together was to take a closer look at how to pray without growing weary in the midst of trying circumstances.

Judy Pierce

Assistant to the Director of Women’s Counseling & Discipleship
Judy is an integral part of the Women’s Counseling Team and Titus 2 Ministry. She works to address the needs of the ministry, provide biblical counseling to women, and maintain communication with women in difficult situations. She also works within Athey’s Titus 2 ministry, which is an avenue for encouraging younger women to be faithful disciples of Jesus, loving their husbands and children, and tending needs within their homes. She and her husband, Bear, have two children and six grandchildren. Judy has a deep-seated joy that comes from encouraging women in their faith in Jesus Christ. Her heart’s desire is to see her sisters in Christ growing in their love for Him through the knowledge of His Word. She loves to see women completely embrace Ephesians 2:10.
