Because they were walking in wickedness and not listening to the Word of the Lord, the children of Israel foolishly turned to Egypt to help deliver them from a perilous situation in Isaiah 30. However, God’s intention was for them to confidently wait upon Him for deliverance from both their sins and their enemies.
