While Jeremiah’s message initially just went unheard and unheeded, the situation has now escalated and the people are seriously considering killing him for it in Jeremiah 24-26. But regardless of his circumstances, Jeremiah does not alter course or change the message to match his circumstances and continues steadfastly to preach the word of the Lord.
