As a leader of a nation and a man of war, David certainly knew a thing or two about facing enemies, being plotted against and betrayed by those surrounding him. However, as we study Psalm 35-36, we see that David also knew the secret to facing his foes was allowing the Lord fight the battles on his behalf and be the one to bring deliverance.
