As the first wave of former captives return to Jerusalem in Ezra 1-3 they get straight to work rebuilding their temple, their city and their way of life. As we study this small group who dared to return we learn how we too can be a part of what God is doing and why we should not be like the complacent captives who stayed in Babylon.
