2 Samuel 1-2


With his chief adversary dead and gone, it stands to reason that David would have nothing but smooth sailing as he takes over as king of Israel. However, that isn’t the case at all in 2 Samuel 1-2 as he must immediately deal with the aftermath of King Saul’s death and the ensuing political division and fighting among the people.
