This time of year, it can be easy to only think of Jesus’ birth as the greeting card scene with a picturesque baby in a manger that we so often see. However, as we pause to reflect on Luke 2:1-14, we see the deeper meanings hidden in the circumstances of His birth, which bring us salvation, a glorious eternal future and a marvelous light to this dark world.
