Wom­en’s Media Coordinator

The Media Coor­di­na­tor will main­tain a robust online pres­ence for Athey Women’s media chan­nels. This posi­tion requires the skills nec­es­sary to work in a fast-paced, fun, and dynam­ic envi­ron­ment. The Media Coor­di­na­tor con­tributes to the mis­sion of Athey Women by help­ing us reach” through media. The ide­al per­son to ful­fill this role is a moti­vat­ed indi­vid­ual with expe­ri­ence in and a pas­sion for con­tent man­age­ment via media platforms.

Qual­i­fi­ca­tions:

  • Agree to the ACCF doc­tri­nal dis­tinc­tive and vision as found in our What We Believe/​Vision Statement 
  • Ful­fill the char­ac­ter qual­i­fi­ca­tions of a dea­con as taught in the scriptures 
  • Expe­ri­ence with con­tent strategies 
  • High-lev­el time man­age­ment skills, abil­i­ty to work under pres­sure, and strong atten­tion to detail 
  • Abil­i­ty to edit and proof­read con­tent for web, YouTube, data­base entry, and social media channels 
  • Expe­ri­ence pro­mot­ing a brand or orga­ni­za­tion using social media (includ­ing Insta­gram, Face­book, and YouTube) 
  • 3+ years of expe­ri­ence in social media man­age­ment or web con­tent man­age­ment through var­i­ous con­tent systems 
  • Strong under­stand­ing of design con­cepts and visu­al prin­ci­ples with a pulse for cur­rent trends and techniques 
  • Work­ing knowl­edge of Keynote presentations 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Par­tic­i­pate in week­ly staff meet­ings and spe­cial events as needed 
  • Admin­is­tra­tion of pod­cast record­ings and post­ing through media channels 
  • Cre­ate Keynote pre­sen­ta­tions for the Women’s Min­istry Director 
  • Stay up to date with changes in all social media plat­forms to ensure max­i­mum effectiveness 
  • Imple­ment con­tent on all Athey Women social media plat­forms, includ­ing Face­book, Insta­gram, YouTube, and min­istry newslet­ter campaigns 
  • Recruit, devel­op, and train a dig­i­tal vol­un­teer team to help with respons­es and engagement 
  • Mon­i­tor trends in social media appli­ca­tions, chan­nels, plat­forms, design, and strategy 
  • Ana­lyze key met­rics, track and report bi-month­ly, and mod­i­fy strat­e­gy as needed 
  • Mon­i­tor and admin­is­ter min­istry web­site updates for cur­rent and past stud­ies and events
  • Over­see com­mu­ni­ty man­age­ment on all chan­nels, includ­ing mon­i­tor­ing inter­ac­tions and respond­ing to com­ments and direct messages
