Rock Product Specialist

Qualifications:

- Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in the Scriptures
- Have a strong work ethic, be organized, able to think through processes and anticipate issues, and be able to follow through with the system requirements
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Maintain a systematic and orderly approach to completing assignments accurately, thoroughly, and timely
- Ability to self-motivate, take initiative, make independent decisions, and solve problems
- Ability to clearly explain complicated and detailed processes in a concise and simple way
- 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in either cloud/datacenter operations, DevOps, or software engineering/development
- Strong technical background with expertise in cloud computing, networking, and enterprise software solutions
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript, Swift), APIs, and software development methodologies
- Knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent certifications and experience also considered
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and special events as needed
- Build, configure, and test new features and processes
- Understand ministry needs and communicate with ministry directors and leads regarding open projects
- Assist with software upgrades through code review and testing
- Provide excellent customer service to Athey Creek staff in person, on the phone, or digitally
- Troubleshoot technical issues and develop a prioritized action plan for resolution
- Receive and analyze end-user feedback and determine the appropriate course of action
- Complete technical documentation for new projects
- Coordinate with the support team to ensure that the Rock support articles are up to date
- All other duties as assigned
