Main­te­nance Tech­ni­cian l

The Main­te­nance Tech­ni­cian l works with the Main­te­nance Team to per­form essen­tial rou­tine main­te­nance tasks as direct­ed by the super­vi­sor. This indi­vid­ual plays an impor­tant role in the over­all mis­sion of Athey Creek by main­tain­ing a clean and beau­ti­ful building.

Qual­i­fi­ca­tions:

  • Agree to ACCF’s doc­tri­nal dis­tinc­tive and vision as found in the What We Believe/​Vision Statement
  • Ful­fill the char­ac­ter qual­i­fi­ca­tions of a dea­con as taught in scripture
  • Be high­ly moti­vat­ed and ener­getic, and pos­sess strong work ethic/​initiative
  • Pos­sess good ver­bal com­mu­ni­ca­tion and orga­ni­za­tion­al skills
  • Able to adapt and thrive in a rapid­ly chang­ing, dynam­ic environment 
  • Able to fol­low detailed instruc­tions and com­plete tasks
  • Able to main­tain a good atti­tude in stress­ful situations 
  • Pos­sess a will­ing­ness to work hard and move quickly

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Par­tic­i­pate in week­ly meet­ings and spe­cial events, as needed
  • Assist with the prepa­ra­tion of the build­ing for ser­vices and events 
  • Assist with the set up and tear­down of ser­vices and events 
  • Per­form cus­to­di­al duties as assigned by the Build­ing Supervisor
  • Main­tain a clean build­ing at all times
  • Assist with ser­vice sup­port to ensure ser­vice flow and chair align­ment, along with clean­ing responsibilities
  • Work as a team with ACCF staff, always edi­fy­ing others. 
  • Oper­ate light-duty vehi­cles and main­te­nance equip­ment when needed
  • Mon­i­tor the prop­er­ty dur­ing wet/​icy weath­er and take action to reduce slip­ping hazards
  • All oth­er duties as assigned 

Sched­ule:

Wednes­day-Sun­day, includ­ing hol­i­day hours dur­ing Christ­mas and East­er services
