Maintenance Technician l
The Maintenance Technician l works with the Maintenance Team to perform essential routine maintenance tasks as directed by the supervisor. This individual plays an important role in the overall mission of Athey Creek by maintaining a clean and beautiful building.
Qualifications:
- Agree to ACCF’s doctrinal distinctive and vision as found in the What We Believe/Vision Statement
- Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in scripture
- Be highly motivated and energetic, and possess strong work ethic/initiative
- Possess good verbal communication and organizational skills
- Able to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment
- Able to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks
- Able to maintain a good attitude in stressful situations
- Possess a willingness to work hard and move quickly
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participate in weekly meetings and special events, as needed
- Assist with the preparation of the building for services and events
- Assist with the set up and teardown of services and events
- Perform custodial duties as assigned by the Building Supervisor
- Maintain a clean building at all times
- Assist with service support to ensure service flow and chair alignment, along with cleaning responsibilities
- Work as a team with ACCF staff, always edifying others.
- Operate light-duty vehicles and maintenance equipment when needed
- Monitor the property during wet/icy weather and take action to reduce slipping hazards
- All other duties as assigned
Schedule:
Wednesday-Sunday, including holiday hours during Christmas and Easter services
