Kids Ministry Coordinator
The Kids Ministry Coordinator works with the broader Athey Kids Ministry Team and is responsible for co-leading the vision, development, and execution of the Kids Ministry program.
Qualifications:
- Agree to ACCF doctrinal distinctive and vision as found in our What We Believe/Vision Statement
- Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in scripture
- Possess strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrate kindness, humility, and self-awareness in interactions with others
- Possess a love and calling toward ministry to children and families
- Able to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment
- Proven ability to develop, equip, and mobilize volunteers
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee programming, class preparation, and management for their age-related ministry
- Support all aspects of the Kids Ministry experience under the direction of the Kids and Youth Lead(s)
- Recruit, train, lead, equip, and motivate volunteers, which includes oversight of volunteer scheduling
- Build relationships with volunteers (including care, support, and appreciation)
- Assist with administrative tasks and meeting other needs of the ministry as needed
- Welcome and assist new families with check-in, policies, and questions
- Act as point person for resolving any questions, concerns, or behavioral issues with parents
- Contribute and participate in Kids Ministry direction and vision
- Connect parents and volunteers with applicable resources as needed
- Assist with campus-wide events (Harvest Party, VBS, etc.) that fall outside regular program hours
- All other tasks as needed
Schedule:
Wednesday – Sunday, including Christmas, Easter, and evening and weekend services
