IT Systems Technician (Entry Level)

The IT Systems Technician ensures the ACC computer systems are up to date and that operation systems meet the current security protocols. They also work with ACC staff through our ticketing system to help resolve technical issues.

Required Expe­ri­ence & Knowledge

  • Agree to ACC’s doc­tri­nal dis­tinc­tive and vision as found in our What We Believe/​Vision Statement
  • Ful­fill the char­ac­ter qual­i­fi­ca­tions of a dea­con as taught in scripture
  • Min­i­mum of one year in an admin­is­tra­tive or sup­port role
  • Basic knowl­edge of oper­at­ing sys­tems and abil­i­ty to trou­bleshoot and resolve staff IT issues
  • Work­ing knowl­edge of secu­ri­ty pro­to­cols and abil­i­ty to imple­ment need­ed systems
  • Basic hard­ware net­work­ing knowl­edge to sup­port Net­work Admin

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Par­tic­i­pate in week­ly staff meet­ings and spe­cial events as needed
  • Assist in net­work design and implementation
  • Pro­vide net­work sup­port for all oper­at­ing sys­tems used with­in ACC
  • Install net­work equip­ment, and main­tain net­work con­nec­tiv­i­ty of all ACC devices, along with pro­vid­ing sup­port to users
  • Main­tain secu­ri­ty cam­eras, appli­ca­tions, ser­vices, and settings
  • Main­tain IT sup­port ser­vice tick­ets with­in ACC’s IT sup­port program
  • Prompt­ly respond to ACC IT sup­port tick­ets and inter­nal mes­sag­ing to help resolve tech­ni­cal issues
  • Help mon­i­tor and main­tain inter­nal ACC soft­ware and hardware
  • Cre­ate detailed tech­ni­cal sup­port doc­u­men­ta­tion for sys­tem appli­ca­tions and procedures
  • Oth­er duties as assigned
