Women's Ministry Assistant

This position entails organizing and coordinating events and studies for Athey Women. It requires strong administrative and organizational skills, creativity, resourcefulness, and effective staff/volunteer/vendor relations. The primary purpose is the effective delivery of events and studies that are supportive and consistent with the direction and vision of Athey Women and Athey Creek.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Par­tic­i­pate in week­ly staff meet­ings and spe­cial events as needed
  • Com­mu­ni­cate with team mem­bers, staff from oth­er depart­ments, ven­dors, and vol­un­teers to ensure the suc­cess­ful out­come of tasks 
  • Assist with depart­ment cal­en­dar­ing and reports
  • Assist with the plan­ning of spe­cial events and studies 
  • Over­see vol­un­teer sched­ul­ing, train­ing, and coordination 
  • Assist with expense/​budget track­ing and reim­burse­ments as needed 
  • Resolve dif­fi­cult or com­plex challenges
  • All oth­er duties as assigned
