Human Resources Assistant

The Human Resources Assistant provides efficient and comprehensive support to the HR team in all administrative tasks. This includes logistical efforts pertaining to recruitment and hiring, assisting in special projects and tasks regarding applicant tracking, compensation projects, calendar management, onboarding, and offboarding. The ideal candidate is people-focused and detail-oriented.

  • Excel­lent com­mu­ni­ca­tion and inter­per­son­al skills
  • Main­tain con­fi­den­tial­i­ty of high­ly sen­si­tive information
  • Pro­fi­cient in Microsoft Suite, Out­look, and Teams
  • High stan­dard of atten­tion to detail
  • Abil­i­ty to man­age time and pri­or­i­tize work

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Man­age office admin­is­tra­tive work requir­ing the use of inde­pen­dent judg­ment and initiative
  • Coor­di­nate with can­di­dates and staff mem­bers to sched­ule hir­ing interview
  • Assist with onboard­ing logis­tics and com­mu­ni­ca­tion for new hires
  • Process and assist with new hire paperwork
  • Process and assist with ter­mi­na­tion paperwork
  • Assist with writ­ing job descrip­tions, keep­ing job descrip­tions cur­rent and organized
  • Post jobs to the Athey Creek website
  • Man­age the appli­ca­tions that come in through our appli­cant track­ing system
  • Main­tain per­son­nel files in com­pli­ance with applic­a­ble legal require­ments as directed
  • Update the human resources infor­ma­tion sys­tem as needed
  • Han­dle labor law poster updating
  • Gen­er­al office duties such as answer­ing phone calls and email and using stan­dard office equipment
  • Assist HR Gen­er­al­ist with all oth­er projects as needed
