Human Resources Assistant
The Human Resources Assistant provides efficient and comprehensive support to the HR team in all administrative tasks. This includes logistical efforts pertaining to recruitment and hiring, assisting in special projects and tasks regarding applicant tracking, compensation projects, calendar management, onboarding, and offboarding. The ideal candidate is people-focused and detail-oriented.
Qualifications:
- Agree to ACCF doctrinal distinctive and vision as found in our What We Believe/Vision Statement
- Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in scripture
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Outlook, and Teams
- High standard of attention to detail
- Ability to manage time and prioritize work
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage office administrative work requiring the use of independent judgment and initiative
- Coordinate with candidates and staff members to schedule hiring interview
- Assist with onboarding logistics and communication for new hires
- Process and assist with new hire paperwork
- Process and assist with termination paperwork
- Assist with writing job descriptions, keeping job descriptions current and organized
- Post jobs to the Athey Creek website
- Manage the applications that come in through our applicant tracking system
- Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements as directed
- Update the human resources information system as needed
- Handle labor law poster updating
- General office duties such as answering phone calls and email and using standard office equipment
- Assist HR Generalist with all other projects as needed
