A sort of courtroom illustration is playing out in Hosea 5-6, where God is laying out the sins of Israel before them and they are guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt. Yet not all is lost – for them or us – because Jesus Christ has paid the price, removed the guilt of our sins, and declared us innocent when we put our faith and trust in Him.
