Jeremiah 47 contains a word from the Lord against the Philistines regarding the impending annihilation that has come upon them because of their own sinful actions. Unfortunately, our sins still destroy us in much the same way and by our own doing – but it doesn’t have to be like that if we repent, run to God, and rely on Jesus for our salvation.
