As we ring in a brand new year together, we are reminded that New Year’s resolutions quickly fail. Yet we can rejoice that God’s will for us in 2026 is not about striving to be better, but about trusting Him and resting in what He has already done for us. When Jesus declared, “It is finished” in John 19:30, He secured our acceptance through His completed work and not through our own efforts or personal successes.
