Pastoral Care Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant will provide high-level support to the Pastoral Care Director by assisting with administrative and pastoral responsibilities while interacting with staff and congregational members.
Qualifications:
- Agree to ACCF’s doctrinal distinctive and vision as found in our What We Believe/Vision Statement
- Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in scripture
- Absolute awareness and adherence to confidentiality
- Possess strong administrative skills and other abilities, such as communication and writing
- Demonstrate competence in computer skills, including MS Office, Pages, and typing
- 3+ years of office assistant work experience
- Self-directed, able to lead others, and manage projects
- Schedule- and task-focused, able to prioritize and complete duties using tracking software, lists, etc.
- Strong organizational and proficient multitasking skills
- Analytical thinker with good time management skills
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participate in weekly staff meetings
- Manage the Pastoral Care Director’s workflows in the church database
- Manage the Pastoral Care Director’s calendar, contacts, and appointments
- Compassionately respond to urgent needs
- Prepare for meetings; create presentations and spreadsheets
- Assist with benevolence requests
- Assist with budget management, tracking weekly receipts and reports to the appropriate budget
- Organize and maintain confidential files and records of a sensitive nature
- Consistently manage multiple tasks, ensuring they are delivered on time and with excellence
- Collaborate with team members as necessary to ensure the successful outcome of tasks
- Provide the Pastoral Care Director with daily administrative support
- All other duties as assigned
