Kids Ministry Assistant - Riverside

The Kids Ministry assistant works with and supports the Kids Ministry Coordinator at Riverside and is responsible for supporting the vision, development, and execution of the Kids Ministry program.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Par­tic­i­pate in week­ly staff meet­ings and spe­cial events as needed
  • Engage as part of a team with Athey Creek staff, always being edi­fy­ing to one another
  • Assist the Athey Kids Coor­di­na­tor with class prepa­ra­tion and management
  • Sup­port all aspects of the Kids Min­istry expe­ri­ence under the direc­tion of the Kids Min­istry Director
  • Assist with admin­is­tra­tive and orga­ni­za­tion­al tasks, along with meet­ing oth­er needs of the ministry
  • Wel­come and assist new fam­i­lies with check-in, poli­cies, and questions
  • Keep class­room inven­to­ry orga­nized and well-stocked between services
  • Assist in orga­niz­ing and clean­ing all spaces and equip­ment in the Kids areas
  • Copy and pre­pare cur­ricu­lum for all cam­pus­es, both dig­i­tal and print
  • Assist in class­rooms as needed
  • Open and close all Kids class­rooms for every service
  • Assist with cam­pus-wide events (Har­vest Fest, VBS, etc.) that fall out­side reg­u­lar pro­gram hours
  • Build pos­i­tive, sup­port­ive, and pro­fes­sion­al rela­tion­ships with families
  • All oth­er duties as assigned
