Duties & Responsibilities

• Par­tic­i­pate in week­ly staff meet­ings and spe­cial events as needed
• Assist Athey Kids Coor­di­na­tor with class prepa­ra­tion and management
• Help with class pro­gram­ing by teach­ing, instruct­ing games, and/​or lead­ing worship
• Wel­come and assist new fam­i­lies with check-in, poli­cies, and questions
• Assist in orga­niz­ing and clean­ing all spaces and equip­ment in the Kid’s Min­istry areas
• Assist in class­rooms as needed
• Assist with cam­pus-wide events (Har­vest par­ty, VBS, etc.) that fall out­side reg­u­lar pro­gram hours
• Active­ly imple­ment and improve how the vision of Athey Kids is met: to see kids saved, fall in love with Jesus, be equipped for a long-term walk, love being at church, and have fun
• Mod­el the Sus­tain­ing Attrib­ut­es: self-aware­ness, joy and kind­ness, work eth­ic, humil­i­ty, teach­a­bil­i­ty, and flexibility
• Engage as part of a team with Athey Creek staff, always being edi­fy­ing to one another
• All oth­er duties as assigned
