Expe­ri­ence and Knowl­edge Required:

  • Agree to ACC’s doc­tri­nal dis­tinc­tive and vision as found in our What We Believe/​Vision Statement
  • Ful­fill the char­ac­ter qual­i­fi­ca­tions of a dea­con as taught in scripture
  • Pos­sess strong admin­is­tra­tive, orga­ni­za­tion­al, and com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills with atten­tion to detail
  • Demon­strate lead­er­ship abil­i­ty to man­age vol­un­teers and coor­di­nate mul­ti­ple mov­ing parts under pressure
  • Show pro­fi­cien­cy in com­put­er pro­grams such as Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and event man­age­ment tools
  • Main­tain flex­i­bil­i­ty and a pos­i­tive atti­tude in a dynam­ic, fast-paced environment
  • Be self-direct­ed, depend­able, and able to fol­low through on com­plex projects
  • 2+ years of expe­ri­ence in event coor­di­na­tion, project man­age­ment, or min­istry sup­port preferred

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Par­tic­i­pate in week­ly staff meet­ings and spe­cial events as needed
  • Plan and coor­di­nate events from con­cept to com­ple­tion, ensur­ing all logis­ti­cal details are cov­ered (set­up, sup­plies, vol­un­teers, sig­nage, and teardown)
  • Sup­port the Direc­tor of Events in imple­ment­ing event sys­tems, time­lines, and checklists
  • Work close­ly with min­istry lead­ers to under­stand event goals and trans­late them into action­able plans
  • Over­see event reg­is­tra­tion, com­mu­ni­ca­tion, and vol­un­teer coor­di­na­tion as needed
  • Main­tain and orga­nize event equip­ment, sup­plies, and stor­age spaces
  • Pre­pare and man­age event bud­gets, pur­chase orders, and expense track­ing in coor­di­na­tion with leadership
  • Pro­vide hands-on and in-per­son sup­port dur­ing events, ensur­ing smooth exe­cu­tion and guest experience
  • Com­mu­ni­cate and coor­di­nate event details across depart­ments, includ­ing the Main­te­nance Team, Front Office, Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Team, and Pro­duc­tion Team, to ensure effi­cient plan­ning and excel­lent event execution
  • Con­tin­u­al­ly look for ways to improve and stream­line oper­a­tional processes
  • Abil­i­ty to trav­el reg­u­lar­ly between mul­ti­ple cam­pus loca­tions to sup­port events, meet­ings, and min­istry activities
  • All oth­er duties as assigned
