This week we looked at how we tend to grasp, too tightly, the things we love, for fear of losing them. We looked at the examples Abraham, Job and Paul set for us with regard to trusting God - even when it costs us. Philippians 3 was the passage that challenged us to aim for Paul’s same heart, which was to pursue Jesus above all else and to hold everything else with open hands.
