As Jesus dies, some incredible phenomena occur in Matthew 27:50-54 including the thick veil of the temple being torn in half from top to bottom. And while it may initially just seem like an interesting side note, as we dig deeper into what this signifies, we find the deep theological implications of what Jesus’ death means for us.
