Wed­ding Coordinator

Over­sees all aspects of an assigned wed­ding, includ­ing orga­niz­ing, coor­di­nat­ing, and help­ing cou­ples with their wed­ding details. This posi­tion serves as the pri­ma­ry coor­di­na­tor between cou­ples who are get­ting mar­ried, the church staff, and the pas­tor offi­ci­at­ing the wedding.

  • Ful­fill the char­ac­ter qual­i­fi­ca­tions of a dea­con as taught in the scriptures
  • Pos­sess strong inter­per­son­al skills with a friend­ly demeanor
  • Exer­cise strong admin­is­tra­tive and orga­ni­za­tion­al skills
  • Proven com­pe­ten­cy in com­put­er skills, includ­ing MS Office and typing 
  • Demon­stra­ble abil­i­ty to lead oth­ers and man­age events 
  • Able abil­i­ty to adapt and thrive in a rapid­ly chang­ing, dynam­ic environment 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Par­tic­i­pate in quar­ter­ly wed­ding meet­ings and spe­cial events as needed 
  • Serve as pri­ma­ry con­tact for cou­ples get­ting mar­ried by an ACCF pastor 
  • Com­plete and file all nec­es­sary paper­work for cou­ples, includ­ing wed­ding check­list and mar­riage license 
  • Com­mu­ni­cate with the Lead Wed­ding Coor­di­na­tor and appro­pri­ate staff regard­ing wed­ding needs 
  • Attend assigned rehearsals and wed­dings and help facil­i­tate as needed. 
  • Ver­i­fy all wed­ding details for the cou­ple and offi­ci­at­ing pastor
  • Man­age details in such a way that the wed­ding goes as smooth­ly as pos­si­ble for the pas­tor and cou­ple get­ting married
  • Work as a team with ACCF staff, always edi­fy­ing others
