Project Coor­di­na­tor — Production

The Project Coor­di­na­tor will lead the day-to-day man­age­ment of projects with­in the Pro­duc­tion depart­ment. This role is respon­si­ble for pri­or­i­tiz­ing projects and deliv­er­ables, devel­op­ing and main­tain­ing sys­tems and time­lines, and com­mu­ni­cat­ing clear­ly and quick­ly between oth­er depart­ments and out­side vendors/​contracts. The Project Coor­di­na­tor is a high­ly orga­nized, assertive, ded­i­cat­ed mem­ber of the Pro­duc­tion Team. This per­son is com­mit­ted to help­ing move the team for­ward by iden­ti­fy­ing and deliv­er­ing on pri­or­i­ties across all lines of the depart­ment while always look­ing to con­tin­u­ous­ly improve and refine our processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Par­tic­i­pate in week­ly staff meet­ings and spe­cial events as needed
  • Respon­si­ble for plan­ning, orga­niz­ing, man­ag­ing, and exe­cut­ing projects from begin­ning to end 
  • Able to man­age mul­ti­ple projects simul­ta­ne­ous­ly, ensur­ing they are com­plet­ed on time and with excellence 
  • Act as com­mu­ni­ca­tions liai­son with oth­er depart­ments, as well as out­side ven­dors and con­tract­ed businesses 
  • Iden­ti­fy and com­mu­ni­cate poten­tial pit­falls, changes of scope, and alter­na­tive solu­tions to the Pro­duc­tion Director 
  • Track project successes/​failures after com­ple­tion to gain an under­stand­ing of bud­gets and future projects 
  • Col­lab­o­rate with team mem­bers to ensure suc­cess­ful project outcomes 
  • May devel­op and man­age bud­gets by track­ing team labor hours and exter­nal costs
