Ministry Assistant Kids and Youth II
The Ministry Assistant provides essential administrative and logistical support for ACCF’s Kids and Youth Ministries.
Qualifications:
- Agree to ACCF doctrinal distinctive and vision as found in our What We Believe/Vision Statement
- Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in scripture
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt, learn, respond, and thrive in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment
- A team player
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
- Ability to manage, direct, and oversee teams of volunteers
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Teach grade school-age children during weekend services
- Promote a fun and energetic environment for children and youth
- Recruit, train, lead, equip, and motivate volunteers
- Build relationships with volunteers (i.e., provide care, support, and show appreciation)
- Assist with substitute teaching as needed
- Lead small junior high/high school monthly groups
- Assist with online content and creation
- Assist with set-up, registration, or other needs for specific Youth Ministry events
- Assist with campus-wide events (i.e., VBS, camps, day trips, etc.)
- Assist with the equipping, clean up, and maintenance of all rooms used in ministry
- Other duties as assigned by the Kids and Youth Director
Schedule:
Tuesday-Sunday, may include holidays, weekends, and evenings
