Ministry Assistant Kids and Youth II

The Ministry Assistant provides essential administrative and logistical support for ACCF’s Kids and Youth Ministries.

Qual­i­fi­ca­tions:

  • Agree to ACCF doc­tri­nal dis­tinc­tive and vision as found in our What We Believe/​Vision Statement
  • Ful­fill the char­ac­ter qual­i­fi­ca­tions of a dea­con as taught in scripture
  • Excel­lent ver­bal and inter­per­son­al com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills
  • Strong orga­ni­za­tion­al and time man­age­ment skills 
  • Abil­i­ty to adapt, learn, respond, and thrive in a rapid­ly chang­ing, dynam­ic environment
  • A team player 
  • Ana­lyt­i­cal think­ing and prob­lem-solv­ing capability
  • Abil­i­ty to man­age, direct, and over­see teams of volunteers

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Teach grade school-age chil­dren dur­ing week­end services
  • Pro­mote a fun and ener­getic envi­ron­ment for chil­dren and youth
  • Recruit, train, lead, equip, and moti­vate volunteers
  • Build rela­tion­ships with vol­un­teers (i.e., pro­vide care, sup­port, and show appreciation) 
  • Assist with sub­sti­tute teach­ing as needed
  • Lead small junior high/​high school month­ly groups 
  • Assist with online con­tent and creation
  • Assist with set-up, reg­is­tra­tion, or oth­er needs for spe­cif­ic Youth Min­istry events
  • Assist with cam­pus-wide events (i.e., VBS, camps, day trips, etc.) 
  • Assist with the equip­ping, clean up, and main­te­nance of all rooms used in ministry
  • Oth­er duties as assigned by the Kids and Youth Director

Sched­ule:

Tues­day-Sun­day, may include hol­i­days, week­ends, and evenings
