Direc­tor of Marketing

The Direc­tor of Mar­ket­ing is respon­si­ble for sup­port­ing the vision and mis­sion of Athey Creek Chris­t­ian Fel­low­ship (ACCF) by man­ag­ing and build­ing engage­ment with those who inter­act with the church through our dig­i­tal chan­nels. The Direc­tor of Mar­ket­ing leads the devel­op­ment and imple­men­ta­tion of Athey Creek’s mar­ket­ing strat­e­gy focused on the mis­sion of reach.” 

Qual­i­fi­ca­tions:

  • Agree to ACCF doc­tri­nal dis­tinc­tive and vision as found in our What We Believe/​Vision Statement
  • Ful­fill the char­ac­ter qual­i­fi­ca­tions of a dea­con as taught in the scriptures
  • 3 – 5 years of relat­ed work experience
  • Effec­tive at process and orga­ni­za­tion­al man­age­ment to coor­di­nate, struc­ture, and pro­vide vision to projects
  • Effec­tive at mul­ti-task­ing and time man­age­ment to meet strict dead­lines while remain­ing flex­i­ble and open to change
  • A degree in Com­mu­ni­ca­tions, Mar­ket­ing, or relat­ed field
  • Strong lead­er­ship skills and under­stand­ing of how to devel­op and guide others
  • Knowl­edge of SEO and web­site traf­fic best practices
  • Able to work under tight dead­lines and pres­sure while main­tain­ing a pro­fes­sion­al demeanor
  • Expe­ri­enced mar­ket­ing team leader who enjoys devel­op­ing peo­ple and chal­leng­ing them to grow as leaders
  • An expert under­stand­ing of the lat­est dig­i­tal mar­ket­ing tools, chan­nels, and strate­gies, as well as a desire to con­sis­tent­ly learn

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Par­tic­i­pate in week­ly staff meet­ings and spe­cial events as needed
  • Knowl­edge of var­i­ous mar­ket­ing con­cepts, tech­niques, and principles
  • Lead a team to build, imple­ment, and eval­u­ate a mar­ket­ing strat­e­gy for dig­i­tal and hybrid audiences
  • Keep a close eye on the data and ana­lyt­ics to ensure orga­ni­za­tion­al alignment
  • Work close­ly with the Direc­tor of Com­mu­ni­ca­tions to align around key objectives 
  • Lead and over­see paid and relat­ed non-paid mar­ket­ing efforts, includ­ing both tra­di­tion­al and dig­i­tal advertising
  • Ensure strong cross-team col­lab­o­ra­tion by con­sis­tent­ly com­mu­ni­cat­ing with key stake­hold­ers to sup­port orga­ni­za­tion-wide priorities 
  • Ensure projects and cam­paigns are com­plet­ed on time and with excel­lence through effec­tive project man­age­ment leadership
  • Cast vision, guide direc­tion, and plan resources for imple­ment­ing mar­ket­ing objectives
  • Man­age mar­ket­ing bud­get to ensure expens­es are clear­ly pro­ject­ed, accu­rate­ly tracked, and aligned with team objectives 
  • Plan and imple­ment online adver­tis­ing to meet spe­cif­ic audi­ence goals 
  • Work close­ly with the Direc­tor of Com­mu­ni­ca­tions to ensure align­ment with Athey stan­dards, mes­sag­ing, and best prac­tices, as well as inte­gra­tion with online church com­mu­ni­ca­tions and mar­ket­ing strategies
  • Col­lect and ana­lyze data (web ana­lyt­ics, cam­paign results, etc.) to make rec­om­men­da­tions and deci­sions on con­tent and audi­ence experiences
  • Oth­er duties as assigned
