Maintenance Technician I

Assists the Building Supervisor and other maintenance staff with the maintenance of ACCF building(s) and immediately adjacent grounds, and supports building events as needed.

  • Abil­i­ty to adapt and thrive in a rapid­ly chang­ing, dynam­ic environment

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Pro­vide week­day ser­vice recov­ery, includ­ing per­son­al­ly ensur­ing that the sanc­tu­ary and build­ing are reset for the upcom­ing weekend.
  • Per­son­al­ly ensure that the sanc­tu­ary and oth­er build­ing areas are cor­rect­ly and com­plete­ly pre­pared for the next event
  • Per­form dai­ly main­te­nance of the build­ing, ensur­ing a main­tained, clean, and safe environment
  • Per­form tasks before, dur­ing, and after ser­vices, such as align­ing chairs, trash removal, or oth­er clean­ing responsibilities
  • Cheer­ful­ly sup­port ACCF min­istries, pas­tors, staff, and/​or events, includ­ing shop­ping, errands, set-up, tear-down, or oth­er sup­port as needed
  • Work as a team with ACCF staff, always being edi­fy­ing to one another
  • Per­form dai­ly tasks relat­ed to jan­i­to­r­i­al and grounds ser­vices (land­scap­ing, park­ing lot, exte­ri­or of buildings)
  • Respond to needs that arise from inclement weath­er (snow removal, flood­ing, emer­gency shel­ter, etc.)
