In Revelation 4:1-4, we find the word “meta tauta” meaning “after these things”. Brett begins to talk about what John writes after the history of the church. We see the doors of heaven open, a trumpet sound, John caught up in the spirit, the majesty of God’s throne and 24 elders around the throne.
