Hear what Jesus, having the sharp double-edged sword, says to the church in Pergamos. What in the world does the world mean? Better asked, what in the Word does the world mean? As we read in 1 John 2, study three clear meanings of ‘world’ throughout the Bible: the physical earth, humanity and a carnal spiritual system. From the Garden of Eden, to the desert where Jesus was tempted, and still in our lives today, Satan uses three major plays against us. Learn and practice what Jesus did to overcome each of the enemy’s plays. Let’s go as radical as possible to Jesus Christ, according to the Word and His perfect will!

Tonight, we find Paul talking to the early church about how to handle the devil and his works. Pastor Brett continues his discussion about the enemy himself, the equipment we are given to deal with him and the power of Jesus Christ.

In 2 Corinthians 2, we see that the Lord took Paul through all kinds of hardships, yet Paul was still determined to preach the gospel. Pastor Brett shows us that Paul ministered to the Corinthian church with a clear conscience, with a compassionate heart and with a conquering faith.

Chapter 11 continues with a description of two witnesses who will perform mighty works and testify against the work of the Antichrist. While this time of tribulation will usher in chaos and unparalleled suffering, these two witnesses are a powerful reminder that the Lord will still be drawing people to Himself in the last days.
