In Genesis 45 we find the account of Joseph revealing himself to his brothers. Nate dives deeper into this story to draw comparisons between Joseph’s loving heart toward his brothers and Jesus’ heart for us. There are some great guidelines in this teaching for those who want to grow deeper in their walks with the Lord.

As we continue our study through Romans, Paul further discusses the concepts of sin, redemption, mercy and grace. In chapter 8, he writes about how there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Pastor Brett talks about condemnation versus conviction, how we have no obligation to the flesh and how we have the hope of heaven.

As we study through Romans 2, Paul presents his readers with a tough challenge. While we all have the tendency to focus on the outward, Paul reminds us that God is more interested in our hearts. In this light, none of us measure up, which makes the Lord’s kindness all the sweeter.
