Hear what Jesus, having the sharp double-edged sword, says to the church in Pergamos. As we continue our study through Revelation 2, we read the commendations and corrections for the city where Satan was dwelling. Learn from the Bible the imminent danger in mixing with the world - the doctrine of Balaam. Here we are called to repent from sin. By the grace of the Lord, enormous blessing is for those who have an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying to these seven churches.

Stay at the fount, where the blessings pour out. Study what this means as we learn to keep ourselves in the love of God. Examine the ways we are drawn away from the overflowing fountain of blessing. Explore Old Testament pictures of New Testament truths, looking for the mercy of Jesus Christ, unto eternal life!

As we continue our study through 2 Peter, recall the importance of searching the Scriptures for truth. It is not about what man says, but rather what the Lord says in His Word, the Bible. In this way, we learn to recognize and stay clear of deceiving doctrines, heresies. Focus on the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, running as far away from the line of worldliness, unto a steady walk with Jesus.

This morning we take a closer look at our text in 2 Corinthians 6. Pastor Brett talks about the importance of not being unequally yoked in marriage, friendship or business.

Tonight we continue on in our messages to the churches of Revelation 2. Our text is the letter to the church at Pergamos and the theme is derived from the name of the church - literally ‘objectionable marriage.’ We examine the various applications of this particular letter, which is very timely for us today.
