On this Christmas night, Pastor Brett takes a moment to discuss the wise men that came to Bethlehem to see Jesus. We see how they came, what they did and how they left.

This Christmas Eve, we take a moment to remind ourselves of what God has done for us. Today, the world forgets that God dwelt among us. As people experience pain and suffering, we can remember God came to this earth as a man and lived through pain and suffering as well, so that every one has the opportunity to be saved.

This Mother’s Day, Pastor Brett takes a break from our study in 1 Corinthians and discusses the story of the mother who asked that her two sons, James and John, be seated at the right and left side of Jesus in the kingdom of Heaven. To some, this act may seem selfish. However, in Matthew 20:20-25, we see Salome’s approach to Jesus, her attitude toward Jesus, her appeal to Jesus, her awareness of Jesus, her acceptance of Jesus and what we can learn from these.

This morning, we break from our study in Romans and read through Matthew 2. During this Christmas season, it is important to remember what we are celebrating. Brett discusses the gifts of the wise men, the symbolism therein and God’s great gift that He has given us.
