As we wrap up Paul’s letter to the Galatians, we see him continue to discuss the issue of legalism. Paul gives a major word of caution to those who struggle with legalism and a word to the weary.

This Sunday, we see Paul speak to the Galatians about burdens. We consider how the church is a hospital with a call for restoration, meekness, love and responsibility. Pastor Brett teaches the difference between a burden and a load in light of Jesus Christ.

In Galatians 5, Paul continues to speak to the church at Galatia about legalism and grace. Paul specifically talks about circumcision - a controversial topic of his day.

In Galatians 4, we continue to see Paul’s argument that we are all saved by grace, not by how well we follow the Law. Paul uses the example of Abraham and Sarah waiting for a son, as an Old Testament picture of this New Testament truth.

Today, we continue reading Paul’s letter to the church at Galatia, where we see Paul explain the idea of grace further. We see that grace precedes the Law.

In Galatians 2, Paul discusses the legalism involved with Jews and gentiles. For example, he explains that one does not have to be circumcised to be saved.

In Galatians 2:21, Paul speaks to the church at Galatia about grace. We continue to learn the grace of God and how we are underserving of such grace.

As we read through Galatians 1, Pastor Brett examines why Christianity is the only true religion. We learn of absolute truth in our continued study through the Bible.

This morning, Pastor Brett gives us an introduction to the book of Galatians. We see an old testament picture in I Kings 13 of a new testament truth.
