Tonight, we wrap up 1 Thessalonians and continue our study of end times. Pastor Brett speaks on why the rapture needs to happen, and he discusses the 22 commandments we see in 1 Thessalonians 5.

Today, we continue our end times series through 1 Thessalonians. Pastor Brett gives us detailed examples of things to be looking for as signs of the time for the Lord’s return.

In our study through 1 Thessalonians, we have seen Paul as an evangelist and as a pastor, and tonight we see him as a pillar. Pastor Brett talks about those who are pillars - people who are solid in their faith and trust in the Lord. We learn the importance of having such individuals in our lives.

As we continue our eschatological study through Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians, we take a closer look at the rapture as it relates to God’s timing. We look at different passages that discuss God’s plan for His people - the Jews.

Tonight, we look at 1 Thessalonians 2, where we see Paul explain his ministry to the church. Pastor Brett discusses the manner, message, motive and method of Paul’s ministry, and how this applies to how we spread the gospel today.

As we continue our series through Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians, we focus on 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. We learn that God tells us we are not to be ignorant of certain things, specifically the rapture of the church.

Tonight, we delve further into the beginning of Paul’s letter to the church at Thessalonica, where Paul talks to the Thessalonians about the Lord’s return. Pastor Brett talks about Paul’s strong words to the Thessalonians about the “wrath to come”.

In our culture, people are becoming more and more hostile towards Christians. This is something that the Bible predicts about the end times. As we begin our study through 1 Thessalonians, we learn what Paul says about the last days.

This evening we start out the new year by taking a closer look at Bible prophecy. Pastor Brett discusses what has taken place in recent months with churches around the globe, current events and how it all relates to what the Bible says about end times.
