Revelation Study  (Revelation 4:1-4)

by Brett Meador

Brett is our senior pastor. He and his family moved to Portland in 1996 to start Athey Creek Christian Fellowship. As our church has grown, Brett’s main focus has remained the same: pointing people to Jesus by teaching through God’s Word, verse-by-verse, book-by-book and chapter-by-chapter. Brett and his wife, Debbie, have three children: Brooke, Joe and Casey.

In Revelation 4:1-4, we find the word “meta tauta” meaning “after these things”. Brett begins to talk about what John writes after the history of the church. We see the doors of heaven open, a trumpet sound, John caught up in the spirit, the majesty of God’s throne and 24 elders around the throne.
